On Wednesday the first of October I went to Utrecht for the film festival. Over there I spotted Daniël Boissevain and he signed three DVD’s for me; the DVD’s of All Stars, Wild Romance and De Zeemeerman. After a while I met Roy and Stjepko at the Central Station and we went to a cinema where we thought that Peter Paul Muller would come, but unfortunately he did not.

On the third of October the ‘Dutch Oscars’, better known as De Gouden Kalveren, would be handed out in Utrecht. After work I rushed to get to Utrecht and at about 7 pm I arrived at the Stadsschouwburg, where I met Roy, Stjepko and Bart. We heard that Rutger Hauer and Paul Verhoeven would come, but unfortunately, the did not. I did manage to get autographs of the following people: Theo Maassen, Pieter Kuijpers, Jean van de Velde, Tygo Gernandt, Kim van Kooten, Jacob Derwig, Daniël Boissevain, Ronald Giphart, Marcel Hensema and the producers and cinematographer of Alles is Liefde.

Today I went to Ghent together with Stjepko for the film festival. In Ghent we met Danny and René who were also waiting for Woody Harrelson. After waiting for a while Richard Jenkins arived. Because I did not have anything to sign for him I asked him for a posed photo which can be seen below:

A few minutes later Woody Harrelson arrived. He did not want to sign anything for us and after taking a photo with Danny, Stjepko and René he went to the press. We decided to wait till he would come out again and when he came out, I asked him for a posed photo. The security told me that it was not possible, but fortunately Woody Harrelson was willing to pose for a photo, which can be seen below:

So unfortunately no new autographs, but I am very glad with my photos.

Last Saturday I went back to Ghent together with fellow collectors Danny, Roy and René for the FACTS convention. After a two hour drive and 'things you only see in Belgium' we arrived at the building where the convention was held.

Over there we decided to visit the guests first. Morena Baccarin signed a photo of Serenity for me and posed for a photo. Then we decided to check out the merchandise. I found a stall which sold press kitts and some of them where interesting enough for me to buy. I also bought some DVD's. Besides merchandise there were also enough formiliar faces at the convention. After talking with the most of them and having checked all the merchandise I decided to get the autograph of Richard Hatch, who plays Tom Zarek in the new Battlestar Gallactica series. He was very nice and after talking with him for a while he signed a photo of the new Battlestar Gallactica and posed for a photo.

After that we decided to go back to the Netherlands. In Brunssum I was able to see the movie 'René en de advocaat van de duivel'. I think it is a fantastic movie which I can recommend everybody. Curious? Check out the trailer over here!

Last Monday I went to the Bride Flight premiere in Amsterdam. I already had seen the movie in the advanced premiere on Sunday and I think it was fantastic and that it will make a good change of being nominated for an Academy Award.

Therefore I was really glad that fellow collector Stjepko had an original poster of the movie for me. Off course there were enough celibrities that attended the premiere. Hugo Metsers signed a photo of Flodder 3 for me and his son, Hugo Metsers, signed a photo of Zwartboek for me.

Then the cast and crew of the movie arrived. Writer of the book and screenplay Marieke van der Pol signed the poster, the book of the movie and a photo of Oppassen!!! for me. Ben Sombogaart, Petra Lasseur, Anna Drijver, Willeke van Ammelrooy, Pleuni Touw, Karina Smulders, Ilse DeLange and Waldemar Torenstra all signed my poster. Fedja van Huêt signed photos of Ober and Nachtrit for me. Rawiri Paratene posed for a photo which can be seen below:

Because there were a lot of celibrities that I missed and one of them was of the main cast of the movie I decided to wait till the end of the premiere.

Although Rutger Hauer did not attend the premiere, I still think I had a very succesful night and hope that Rutger Hauer will sign my poster in the future.

On the 24th of October I went to the Televizier Gala at Carré. At this gala the annual Dutch TV awards are handed out. Every year a lot of Dutch celebrities attend this gala and this year I wanted to see if it was possible to get the autographs of some interesting people.

The first actor I saw that interested me was Derek de Lint. Although I had met him before, I still had some items for him to sign. This time he signed a lobby card of De Aanslag for me and a photo of Soldaat van Oranje. Wendy van Dijk also was present and she signed my
DVD of Alles is Liefde.

Because there were a lot of celebrities inside which had gone in from the other side, I decided to wait with some other collectors. Waiting outside we heard that Paul de Leeuw had won a Televizierring. When he came outside he signed a photo of his new movie Spion van Oranje for me.

Because I heard that there weren't that many interesting people for me inside and because the next day I was flying to England I decided to go home.
